AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO NEGOTIATE AND ENTER INTO A WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF COLUMBUS, OHIO

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City Administrator to negotiate and enter into a water service agreement with the City of Columbus for those areas of Groveport that are not served by Groveport's water plant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the City Administrator is hereby authorized to negotiate and enter into a water service agreement with the City of Columbus for those areas of Groveport that are not served by Groveport's water plant.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
