Title

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO CREATE THE POSITION OF TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR FOR THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT

Body

WHEREAS, it is necessary to create the position of Transportation Coordinator in the Transportation Department; and,


WHEREAS, this will necessitate an increase in authorized staffing level for the Transportation Department; and,

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3.01 (A)(4) of the Groveport City Charter, Council can establish or authorize the number of employees in the various offices, departments, divisions, bureaus, boards, and commissions of the Municipality; and,

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1 That there is hereby created the position of Transportation Coordinator in the Transportation Department.

 

Section 2:  That the position description attached hereto and incorporated herein for the stated position is hereby approved.

 

Section 3:  That the pay grade for said position shall be Grade 5.

 

Section 4:  That the authorized strength of staff for the Transportation Department shall be increased by one (1).

 

Section 5:  That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
