AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A FISHING AGREEMENT WITH THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, DIVISION OF WILDLIFE, AND A DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY
Body
WHEREAS, it is beneficial to the residents that the City of Groveport enter into a fishing agreement with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
 
Section 1:  That the Administrator is hereby authorized to enter into a fishing agreement with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife.
 
Section 2:   That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely manner in order for the City to continue to benefit from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife's fisheries management program. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
