AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART NINE - STREETS, UTILITIES AND PUBLIC SERVICES CODE OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend certain sections of Part Nine - Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Groveport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That Part Nine - Streets, Utilities and Public Services, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Groveport, is hereby amended as shown in the attached Exhibit "A".
Section 2: That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community as this legislation must be enacted in a timely manner so that the City Administrator and Public Service Director can take immediate enforcement action with respect to the City's water utility regulations; WHEREFORE, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
