AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO SOLICIT PROPOSALS FOR CONCESSION OPERATIONS AT THE LINKS AT GROVEPORT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH THE FIRM OR COMPANY THAT SUBMITS THE MOST BENEFICIAL PROPOSAL TO THE CITY, AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Administrator to solicit proposals for concession operations at the Links at Groveport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to solicit proposals for concession operations at the Links at Groveport and further authorized to enter into a contract with the firm or company that submits the most beneficial proposal to the City.
Section 2: That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and general welfare of the community as concession operations must be in place in a timely fashion to assure that food and beverages are available for patrons of the Links at Groveport. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
