AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND PUBLIC SERVICE DIRECTOR TO ACCEPT GRANTS FROM THE OHIO ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY FOR THE PURCHASE OF SNOW EQUIPMENT AND LEASE OF ROAD TEMPERATURE SENSORS, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ANY AGREEMENTS NECESSARY TO RECEIVE SAID GRANT FUNDING

WHEREAS, Council has deemed it necessary to authorize the City Administrator and the Public Service Director to accept grants from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for the acquisition of snow equipment and lease of road temperature sensors for the Public Services Department

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1: That the City Administrator and the Public Service Director are hereby authorized to accept grants from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for the acquisition of snow equipment and lease of road temperature sensors for the Public Services Department.

 

Section 2:  That the Administrator is further authorized to execute any agreements necessary to receive said grant funding.

 

Section 3:  WHEREFORE, That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force at the earliest time provided by law.
