AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THREE (3) SUPPLEMENTAL RIGHT-OF-WAY AND EASEMENT INSTRUMENTS WITH AEP AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Groveport to execute three (3) supplemental right-of-way and easement instruments with AEP to complete electrical line repair and pole alignment activities at the Groveport Park and at the intersection of Hamilton Road and Bixby Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to execute three (3) supplemental right-of-way and easement instruments with AEP.
Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community to the extent that said legislation must be enacted in a timely fashion to assure that there is no delay in the above-referenced utility activities to be conducted by AEP; Wherefore, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
