Title

AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF PUBLIC SERVICE DIRECTOR, ACCEPTING THE POSITION DESCRIPTION AND ESTABLISHING THE PAY GRADE, AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

Body

WHEREAS, it is necessary to create the position of Public Service Director; and

 

WHEREAS, it is necessary to accept the position description and establish the position pay grade.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1:  That there is hereby created the position of Public Service Director, the position description attached hereto is accepted, and the pay grade for said position shall be Grade 21.

 

Section 2:   That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely manner in order for the Public Service Director to be in place as soon as possible; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
