AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF 295.86 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, PARCEL NUMBERS 180-000212, 180-000326, 180-000329, 180-000437, 180-000959, AND 180-001486 LOCATED IN MADISON TOWNSHIP UPON ANNEXATION OF SAID TRACTS TO THE CITY OF GROVEPORT (EBRIGHT INVESTMENT COMPANY, LLC, PETITIONERS)

WHEREAS, the Commissioners of Franklin County, Ohio, have unanimously approved the application of Ebright Investment Company, LLC, petitioner, for annexation of 295.86 more or less, acres, located on Parcel Numbers 180-000212, 180-000326, 180-000329, 180-000437, 180-000959, and 180-001486 in Madison Township upon annexation of said tracts to the City of Groveport; and,
WHEREAS, said annexation would be beneficial to the citizens of the City of Groveport, Ohio.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Petition of Ebright Investment Company, LLC, petitioner, for annexation of 295.86 acres, more or less, Parcel Numbers 180-000212, 180-000326, 180-000329, 180-000437, 180-000959, and 180-001486, located in Madison Township to the City of Groveport, be approved.
Section 2: That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto which are made a part hereof, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
