Title

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, OHIO, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2025

Body

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the preservation of the Public Health and Safety that the ordinance to set appropriations for the current expenses and other expenditures of the City of Groveport, State of Ohio, during the calendar year ending December 31, 2024, be adopted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1:  That to provide for the current expenses and other expenditures of the City for the calendar year ending December 31, 2025, the following sums be and are hereby set aside and appropriated according to Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

Section  2:  That the Finance Director of the City is hereby authorized to make payments from any of the foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certifications and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board or Officers authorized by law to approve the same, or an ordinance or resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries and/or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio and/or the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Groveport.

 

Section 3:  That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by Law.
