Title

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A DEVELOPMENT AND INCENTIVE AGREEMENT WITH TRI-TECH LABORATORIES, LLC PURSUANT TO O.R.C. SECTION 718.15 AS AUTHORIZED BY ARTICLE VIII, SECTION 13 OF THE OHIO CONSTITUTION, AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

Body

WHEREAS, Council has determined it necessary to provide a local tax incentive as enticement for Tri-Tech Laboratories, LLC to expand and create new jobs and investment in the community.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1:  That, pursuant to O.R.C. Section 718.15, the Administrator is hereby authorized to enter into a Development and Incentive Agreement as authorized by Article VIII, Section 13 of the Ohio Constitution with Tri-Tech Laboratories, LLC, pursuant to the terms as set forth in the Agreement.

 

Section 2:  That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community as said legislation must be enacted in a timely manner in order for the City to facilitate the immediate creation of new jobs and investment in the City of Groveport; WHEREFORE, this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
