AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ADD AND/OR MOVE CERTAIN POSITIONS TO AND/OR FROM THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS IN THE CITY OF GROVEPORT
Body
WHEREAS, it has been determined necessary to add and/or move certain positions to and/or from various departments in the City of Groveport to address staffing needs in said departments.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
 
Section 1:  That the Administrator is hereby authorized to add the position of Part-Time Receptionist in the Police Department; to add the position of Equipment Maintenance Technician in the Facilities Management Department; to move the position of Equipment Maintenance Technician from the Recreation and Parks Department to the Facilities Management Department, and to move the Administrative Assistant position from exclusively being in the Public Works Department to being included also in the Facilities Management Department.
 
Section 2:  That the authorized strength of staff for the Departments named in Section 1 above shall be modified accordingly to reflect the change in staffing levels as a result of authorized actions of the Administrator.
 
Section 3:  That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
