AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO ADD THE POSITION OF BUILDING CLERK IN THE BUILDING & ZONING DEPARTMENT
Body
WHEREAS, it has been determined that an increase in authorized staffing level for the Building & Zoning Department is appropriate; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3.01 (A)(4) of the Groveport City Charter, Council can establish or authorize the number of employees in the various offices, departments, divisions, bureaus, boards, and commissions of the Municipality; and,
WHEREAS, due to the addition of the stated position, it will be necessary to increase the authorized strength for the Building & Zoning Department by adding the position of Building Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That there is hereby added the position of Building Clerk in the Building & Zoning Department.
Section 2: That the authorized strength of staff for the Building & Zoning Department shall be increased to five (5).
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
