Body
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the City of Groveport if it purchased the above-referenced property.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
 
Section 1:  That the contract for the purchase of Parcel No. 185-001850, which is located at 5690 Clyde Moore Drive in the City of Groveport, is hereby approved.
 
Section 2:  That the Administrator is hereby authorized to complete the transaction in accordance with its terms.
 
Section 3:  That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community as this legislation must be enacted in a timely fashion in order for the City to acquire said property within the time frame stipulated in the real estate purchase agreement for this matter; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force after its passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
