AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE POSITION OF EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT BY RE-NAMING IT PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATOR/EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT, AMENDING THE POSITION DESCRIPTION, AND MODIFYING THE PAY GRADE THEREFORE, AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the position of Executive Assistant, and modify the pay grade therefore.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the current Executive Assistant position is hereby re-named Public Relations Coordinator/Executive Assistant, the position description attached hereto is amended, and the new pay grade for said position shall be Grade 12.
Section 2: That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely manner in order for the foregoing amendments to said position to take place as soon as possible. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
