AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ISSUE REQUESTS FOR QUALIFICATIONS AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE MOST DESIRABLE COMPANY OR FIRM, TO ENGINEER, DESIGN, AND ESTIMATE CONSTRUCTION COSTS FOR A FACILITY TO HOUSE THE PARKS MAINTENANCE AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENTS ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5101 SOUTH HAMILTON ROAD

WHEREAS, Council has deemed it necessary to construct a facility to house the Parks Maintenance and Transportation Departments, and;
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to issue Requests for Qualifications for the engineering, designing and the estimating of costs for a facility to house the Parks Maintenance and Transportation Departments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to issue requests for qualifications and enter into a contract with the most desirable company or firm, to engineer, design and estimate construction costs for a facility to house the Parks Maintenance and Transportation Departments on the property located at 5101 South Hamilton Road.
Section 2: That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto which are made a part hereof, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
