AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO SOLICIT BIDS AND TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE WIRT ROAD PHASE 1 PEDESTRIAN BIKE PATH

WHEREAS, Council wishes to move forward with above stated project.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
 
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to solicit bids for the construction of the Wirt Road Phase 1 Pedestrian Bike Path and is further authorized to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the construction thereof.
 
Section 2:   That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto which are made a part hereof, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
