AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ACCEPT THE GRANT OF A FEE SIMPLE INTEREST IN A 0.0861 ACRE TRACT OF LAND FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES FROM AL DEVELOPMENT, INC. AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to accept the grant of a fee simple interest in 0.0861 acre tract of land for Right-of-Way purposes from AL Development, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to accept the grant of a fee simple interest in a 0.0861 acre tract of land for Right-of-Way purposes from AL Development, Inc.
Section 2: That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and general welfare of the community to the extent said legislation must be passed in a timely fashion so the City may immediately acquire said Right-of-Way for future utility and roadway improvements and/or maintenance activities; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
