AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO SOLICIT BIDS AND TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 2026 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM, GROVEPORT PARK LOWER PARKING LOT RESURFACING, AND GROVEPORT PARK SHARED USE PATH RECONSTRUCTION

WHEREAS, it is necessary to solicit bids and enter into a contract in conjunction with the 2026 Street Maintenance Program, Groveport Park Lower Parking Lot Reconstruction, and Groveport Park Shared Use Path Reconstruction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to solicit bids in conjunction with the 2026 Street Maintenance Program, Groveport Park Lower Parking Lot Reconstruction, and Groveport Park Shared Use Path Reconstruction and further authorized to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for said project.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
