AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEWER USAGE RATES
Body
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Groveport to amend the sewer usage rates in order to account for changes to the current schedule of rates for the City of Columbus.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That effective with the billing period beginning April 1, 2014, the sewer usage rates are to be amended to $6.23 per one thousand gallons (1,000).
Section 2: That the Administrator is hereby authorized, from this day forward, to implement any modification in rates necessary to account for changes in the utility rate schedule of the City of Columbus.
Section 3: That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto which are made a part hereof, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
