AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO INSTALL TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES/SIGNS ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF GROVEPORT ROAD AT RICHARDSON ROAD, ON BIXBY ROAD AT US33, ON EBRIGHT ROAD SOUTH OF BIXBY ROAD, ON OLD HAMILTON ROAD SOUTH OF EBRIGHT ROAD, ON MAIN STREET WEST OF TALLMAN STREET IN THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, Council has deemed it necessary to install traffic control devices/signs to prohibit truck travel at the above-referenced locations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to install the following traffic control devices/signs:
"No Thru Trucks" on the southwest corner of Groveport Road at Richardson Road
"No Thru Trucks" on Bixby Road at US33 (2 signs)
"No Thru Trucks" on Ebright Road south of Bixby Road
"No Thru Trucks" on Old Hamilton Road south of Ebright Road
"No Thru Trucks" on Main Street west of Tallman Street
Section 2: That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely manner to assure safe vehicular travel and the prevention of potential property damage on the above-cited roadways; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
