AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 2026 GENERAL FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE CITY OF GROVEPORT

WHEREAS, The Finance Department has completed a review of all fees charged by the City of Groveport and recommends establishing a General Fee Schedule summarizing all fees and charges assessed by the City of Groveport amongst all City departments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the City of Groveport 2026 General Fee Schedule attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A" is hereby adopted.
Section 2: That the City Administration shall review annually and submit to Council for its approval, all fees and charges assessed by the City of Groveport in order to recover the full costs necessary to provide the respective City service.
Section 3: That should it become necessary to establish a new service fee or charge during the year, or increase an existing fee or charge, the Administrator may set the fee administratively, provided that any such amendment to the fee schedule shall be reported to City Council at its next meeting.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
