Title

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A RIGHT-OF-WAY / EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE GROVEPORT MADISON LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT IN RELATION TO THE HENDRON ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

Body

WHEREAS, it is necessary to obtain a right-of-way / easement agreement from the Groveport Madison Local School District in relation to the Hendron Road Reconstruction Project; and

 

WHEREAS, to accept said easement it is necessary for the Administrator to execute a right-of-way / easement agreement.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1:                     That the Administrator is hereby authorized to execute any instruments necessary to obtain a right-of-way and/or easement in regards to the aforementioned project with the Groveport Madison Local School District.

 

Section 2:                     That this Ordinance is hereby deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely manner so that the City can meet the project schedule requirements of the project funding agency, being the Ohio Public Works Commission; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
