AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ACCEPT THE ASSIGNMENT OF A UTILITY EASEMENT FROM GROVEPORT HOUSING, LLC AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, in would be in the City's best interest to accept an assignment of an easement from Groveport Housing, LLC in conjunction to the Groveport Senior Village development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to accept the assignment of an easement from Groveport Housing, LLC.
Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community to the extent that said legislation must be enacted in a timely fashion so that the City can have immediate access to the public improvements located in the easement in the event repair and/or maintenance issues arise; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
