Title

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ISSUE REQUESTS FOR QUALIFICATIONS AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE MOST DESIRABLE COMPANY OR FIRM, TO ENGINEER, DESIGN, AND ESTIMATE CONSTRUCTION COSTS FOR THE SECOND FLOOR MUNICIPAL SPACE IN THE RAREY'S PORT AND WERT'S GROVE BUILDINGS

Body

WHEREAS, Council has deemed it necessary to design and construct the second floor municipal space in the Rarey's Port and Wert's Grove buildings, and;

 

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to issue Requests for Qualifications for the engineering, designing and the estimating of costs for said second floor spaces.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1:  That the Administrator is hereby authorized to issue requests for qualifications and enter into a contract with the most desirable company or firm, to engineer, design and estimate construction costs for the second floor municipal space in the Rarey's Port and Wert's Grove buildings.

 

Section 2:  That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto which are made a part hereof, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
