AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO CONVEY THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 173 FRONT STREET (PARCEL NUMBER 185-000144) TO THE GROVEPORT COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT CORPORATION (CIC) AND TO FURTHER AUTHORIZE THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ACCEPT CONVEYANCE OF SAID PARCEL BACK TO THE CITY, AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, Council has determined it necessary to authorize the above-referred transaction to effectuate the sale of the property as directed by Council in Ordinance No. 13-046.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That, the Administrator is hereby authorized to convey the property located at 173 Front Street, Parcel Number 185-000144 to the Groveport CIC, and further authorized to accept the conveyance of said parcel back to the City to effectuate the sale of this property as directed by Council in Ordinance No. 13-046.
Section 2: That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community as said legislation must be enacted in a timely manner in order for the City to facilitate the sale of the property as previously directed by Council; WHEREFORE, this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
