AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART ONE - ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, TITLE FIVE- ADMINISTRATIVE, CHAPTER 137 -BOARD OF CEMETERY TRUSTEES, SECTION 137.02 - RULES AND REGULATIONS, AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City amend Part One - Administrative Code, Title Five - Administrative, Chapter 137 - Board of Cemetery Trustees, Section 137.02 Rules and Regulations in order to properly codify the rules and regulations with respect to the administration of the City's cemeteries.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That Part One - Administrative Code, Title Five - Administrative, Chapter 137 - Board of Cemetery Trustees, Section 137.02 Rules and Regulations is hereby amended according to the attached "Exhibit A" which is made a part hereof.
Section 2: That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto which are made a part hereof, this Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community as this ordinance must be enacted in a timely fashion so that the amended rules can be in place for the efficient, effective and respectful operation of the City's cemeteries; Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
