AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 13-053 (ADOPTED 12/16/2013), THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, OHIO, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2014

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend Ordinance No. 13-053, the annual appropriation Ordinance for the City of Groveport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF THE MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That Ordinance 13-053 (adopted 12/16/2013), the annual appropriation Ordinance of the City of Groveport, Ohio, for the calendar year 2014 providing for the current expenses and other expenditures of the City of Groveport during the year ending December 31, 2014, be amended, according to Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, thereby resulting in amendments to the stated annual appropriation Ordinance.
Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City is hereby authorized to make payments from any of the foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certifications and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board or Officers authorized by law to approve the same, or an ordinance or resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries and/or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio and/or the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Groveport.
Section 3: That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto which are made a part hereof, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
