AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH CLOUS ROAD PARTNERS LLC, OR AN AFFILIATED ENTITY, RELATED TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF FRANKLIN COUNTY TAX PARCEL 180-000921 AND THE REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT OF FRANKLIN COUNTY TAX PARCELS 185-002772, 185-002773, 185-002774 AND 180-000921

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to enter into an Economic Development Agreement with Clous Road Partners LLC, or an affiliated entity, (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Developer"); and,
WHEREAS, the Developer is proposing to annex and rezone Franklin County Tax Parcel 180-000921 and rezone Franklin County Tax Parcels 185-002772, 185-002773, and 185-002774, 18.6 + acres, to support a development expected to contain two lots; and,
WHEREAS, the Developer is expected to construct a 212,000-square-foot freezer and cold storage warehouse with attached office and related site improvements (drives, loading docks, parking lots, utilities, etc.) on Lot 1; and,
WHEREAS, Lot 2 is expected to involve the development of a smaller building than that constructed on Lot 1 which would be identified in size and use in a separate, subsequent application for Modification of the Final Development Plan for Lot 2, (hereinafter said developments on Lot 1 & 2 are hereby referred to as “the Project”); and,
WHEREAS, this Economic Development Agreement will outline the plans and certain commitments of both the Developer and the City as it relates to the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
