AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO AMEND THE EXISTING SANITARY SEWER SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF COLUMBUS, OHIO AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, negotiations have occurred between representatives of the City of Columbus, Ohio and the City of Groveport;
WHEREAS, these negotiations have resulted in an amendment to the existing agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the current sanitary sewer agreement accepted by Council in Ordinance No. 2000-17, (adopted March 27, 2000), is hereby amended according to the attached Exhibit "A".
Section 2: That the City Administrator is hereby authorized to execute any document necessary to facilitate the amendment to the stated agreement.
Section 3: That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community as this legislation must be enacted in a timely fashion to correctly reflect the sanitary sewer service areas of the City; WHEREFORE; this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
