AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO CONVEY A DRIVEWAY EASEMENT TO THE GROVEPORT HERITAGE AND PRESERVATION SOCIETY TO ACCESS PARCEL NUMBERS 185-000437 AND 185-000438 THROUGH PARCEL NUMBERS 185-000305 AND 185-002902

WHEREAS, the City has decided to donate Parcel Numbers 185-000437 and 185-000438 to facilitate the relocation and exhibition of a "Canal Era" building by the Groveport Heritage and Preservation Society across from the Log Cabin at Heritage Park; and,
WHEREAS, Council has deemed it appropriate to convey a driveway easement to the Groveport Heritage and Preservation Society to access Parcel Numbers 185-000437 and 185-000438 through Parcel Numbers 185-000305 and 185-002902.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to convey a driveway easement to the Groveport Heritage and Preservation Society over Parcels 185-000305 and 185-002902 so that access is available to the Canal Era building which is to be relocated and exhibited on land donated by the City for said purpose.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
