AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO DONATE PARCELS 185-000437 AND 185-000438 TO THE GROVEPORT HERITAGE AND PRESERVATION SOCIETY

WHEREAS, the City of Groveport is desirous of donating the above-referred parcels to the Groveport Heritage and Preservation Society for the purpose of relocating and exhibiting a historic "Canal Era" building on said tracts; and,
WHEREAS, said tract of land is no longer needed for public purposes and the conveyance thereof will facilitate the relocation and exhibition of a historic structure immediately adjacent to Heritage Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to donate Parcel Numbers 185-00437 and 185-00438 to the Groveport Heritage and Preservation Society, as said tract is no longer needed for public purposes.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
