AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE VILLAGE OF OBETZ TO PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE GROVEPORT RICKENBACKER EMPLOYEE ACCESS TRANSIT (GREAT) PROGRAM AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the Village of Obetz has decided to take part in the stated transportation program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Village of Obetz for the provision of transportation services in conjunction with the Groveport Rickenbacker Employee Access Transit (GREAT) Program.
Section 2: That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto which are made a part hereof this Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely fashion so that Groveport Rickenbacker Employee Access Transit (GREAT) Program can commence as soon as possible; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
