Title

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ACCEPT THE GRANT OF A RIGHT OF WAY EASEMENT FROM DAVID S. LOWY IN RELATION TO THE 2015 STREET MAINTENANCE PROJECT, AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

Body

WHEREAS, it is necessary to obtain an easement to facilitate the reconstruction of a sidewalk / curb ramp on College Street in conjunction with the 2015 Street Maintenance Project.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1:   That the Administrator is hereby authorized to accept the grant of a right of way easement from David S. Lowy.

 

Section 2That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto this Ordinance is hereby deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely fashion so that said easement can be immediately in place as the stated project has already commenced; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after passage by the Council and signature of the Mayor.
