AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE AN EASEMENT INSTRUMENT WITH SOUTH CENTRAL POWER CO. AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Groveport to execute an easement instrument with South Central Power Co. to complete an electric line and its extension in conjunction with the capital improvements taking place at the Links at Groveport Golf Course.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to execute an easement instrument with South Central Power Co.
Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community to the extent that said legislation must be enacted in a timely fashion to assure that there is no delay in the above-referenced utility activities to be conducted by South Central Power Co.; Wherefore, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
