AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO INSTALL A TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE/SIGN AT THE INTERSECTION OF TALLMAN STREET AND ROHR ROAD IN THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, Council has deemed it necessary to install a traffic control device/sign to prohibit truck travel at the above-referenced location.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to install the following traffic control device/sign:
"No Thru Trucks - Local Deliveries Only" at Tallman Street at Rohr Road
Section 2: That this Ordinance be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely manner to assure safe vehicular travel and the prevention of potential property damage on the above-cited roadway; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
