AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH HUNTINGTON PUBLIC CAPITAL CORPORATION TO FINANCE THE PURCHASE OF A GOLF CART FLEET FOR THE LINKS AT GROVEPORT AFTER A VENDOR IS SELECTED VIA COMPETITIVE BIDDING

WHEREAS, the Administrator was previously authorized to solicit bids and enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the purchase of a new golf cart fleet at the Links at Groveport; and
WHEREAS, in order to facilitate the purchase of said golf carts, it is necessary to enter into the stated lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to enter into a Lease Agreement with Huntington Public Capital Corporation to finance the purchase of a golf cart fleet after a vendor is selected via competitive bidding.
Section 2: That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto, which are made a part hereof, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
