A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TAX BUDGET FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2018 AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the City of Groveport has properly advertised notice and held a public hearing with regard to the proposed tax budget of the City for 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the tax budget for the calendar year 2018, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby adopted.
Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community to the extent that this Resolution must be passed in a timely manner to meet the filing deadline of the Franklin County Auditor's Office. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
