AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE FOUR (4) UTILITY EASEMENT / RIGHT OF WAY INSTRUMENTS WITH COLUMBIA GAS TRANSMISSION LLC (COLUMBIA GAS) AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Groveport to execute four (4) utility easement / right of way instruments with Columbia Gas to complete Columbia Gas' current gas transmission line project passing through the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to execute four (4) utility easement / right of way instruments with Columbia Gas, thereby conveying four (4) utility easement / right of way instruments to Columbia Gas.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community as this legislation must be enacted in a timely manner so that there is no undue delay in the stated utility project; Wherefore, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
