AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 16-053 AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH HUNTINGTON PUBLIC CAPITAL CORPORATION AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, to facilitate the purchase of a golf course sprayer and a compact utility tractor at the golf course from the vendor it is necessary to enter into the stated lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to enter into a Lease Agreement with Huntington Public Capital Corporation to finance the purchase of a Toro Multi-Pro 1750 golf course sprayer and a John Deere 4052M Compact utility tractor for the Links at Groveport.
Section 2: That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto and made a part hereof this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and general welfare of the community. This legislation must be enacted in a timely manner so that the stated equipment can be utilized immediately at the City's golf course WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
