AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A LICENSING AGREEMENT WITH JEFF FINEGAN AT 341 MAIN ST AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, Jeff Finegan, is desirous of installing signage in a portion of the City's right-of-way on Main Street at the entrance of the 341 Main Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City has no objection to the installation of said signage provided a licensing agreement is executed by Jeff Finegan setting forth his responsibilities and obligations in this limited use of the City's right-of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to enter into a licensing agreement with Jeff Finegan to allow the installation of signage in the City's right-of-way on Main Street at the entrance of 341 Main Street as depicted in said agreement.
Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely fashion as the owner of the property received a use variance for his business on July 22, and is desirous of opening said business; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
