AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF GROVEPORT - PART THREE - TRAFFIC CODE, TITLE SEVEN, CHAPTER 351, SECTION 351.17, TRUCK PARKING IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the City Council has deemed it necessary to amend the above-referenced section of the Codified Ordinances of Groveport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That Part Three - Traffic Code, Title Seven, Chapter 351, Section 351.17, Truck Parking in Residential Areas of the Codified Ordinances of Groveport is hereby re-titled and amended, according to the attached Exhibit "A" which is made a part hereof.
Section 2: That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto which are made a part hereof, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and general welfare of the community to the extent that Groveport Police Department will not be able to take enforcement action as to this section of the traffic code unless this Ordinance is enacted in a timely manner; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
