AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE RECREATION CENTER CAPITAL ACCOUNT FUND AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2007-002 (ADOPTED 3/26/2007)

Body

WHEREAS, in its review of the Groveport Recreation Center’s operating revenues, Council concluded that it would be desirable to set aside a portion of the Recreation Center’s gross revenue for capital expenditures and equipment.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1:  That effective January 1, 2020, the Recreation Center Capital Account Fund shall be funded each year by applying five percent (5%) of the Recreation Center’s gross revenues to said fund for the purpose of funding exterior or interior improvements and related equipment at the Recreation Center.

 

Section 2:  That the Finance Director is further authorized and directed to request certification of such revenues from the County Budget Commission as Council approves appropriations to such fund upon passage of the City's Annual Appropriation Ordinance.

 

Section 3:  That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
