AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH HUNTINGTON PUBLIC CAPITAL CORPORATION TO FINANCE THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) POLICE CRUISERS, INCLUDING ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, to facilitate the purchase of two (2) police cruisers, including ancillary equipment from the vendor, it is necessary to enter into the stated lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized to enter into a Lease Agreement with Huntington Public Capital Corporation to finance the purchase of two (2) police cruisers, including ancillary equipment, for the Police Department.
Section 2: That all auto title services provided for any vehicle procured by the City hereunder shall be performed by the Franklin County Clerk of Courts Auto Title Division.
Section 3: That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto, which are made a part hereof, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
