AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART ELEVEN - PLANNING AND ZONING CODE, TITLE SEVEN - SUPPLEMENTAL LAND USE REGULATIONS, CHAPTER 1177 OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING, 1177.08 LIMITATION OF PARKING IN RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

Body

WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City amend the above-referred codified ordinances.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1:  That Part Eleven - Planning and Zoning Code, Title Seven - Supplemental Land Use Regulations, Chapter 1177 Off-Street Parking and Loading, 1177.08 Limitation of parking in residential zoning districts, is hereby amended according to the attached Exhibit "A" which is made a part hereof.

Section 2:  Inconsistent Legislative Actions Repealed: That all previous ordinances, resolutions, motions, or parts of ordinances, resolutions, or motions, for the City of Groveport, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

 

Section 3:  That this Ordinance is hereby deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely manner so that City staff can take immediate enforcement action; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
