AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY'S COMPENSATION PLAN ESTABLISHED IN ORDINANCE 2012-010 (ADOPTED 5-9-2012) AND ORDINANCE 2017-002 (ADOPTED 1-23-2017), WHICH AMENDED THE SAME, THEREBY AMENDING THE CURRENT PAY SCALE FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the City's current Compensation Plan thereby amending the current pay scale for employees of the City of Groveport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the City of Groveport hereby amends its current Compensation Plan (thereby amending Ordinance 2012-010, adopted 5-9-2012 and Ordinance 2017-002, adopted 1-23-2017, which amended the same ) according to Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2: That further, the Administrator and/or his/her designee shall modify the current procedure of performing a salary study every five (5) years by conducting said study every three (3) years and performing a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) review annually the other two (2) years.
Section 3: Inconsistent Motions Repealed: That all previous Ordinances, Resolutions, motions, or parts of Ordinances, Resolutions, or motions, for the City of Groveport, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
