AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PAY SCALE

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the positions, Administrative Assistant - Engineering, Administrative Assistant - Community Affairs, Director of Parks and Facilities Management, Director of Transportation, Human Resources Clerk, Seasonal Golf Maintenence Worker I, and Seasonal Golf Maintenence Worker II on the City's current pay scale.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the pay scale for the City is hereby amended accordingly as to the following positions:
• Administrative Assistant - Engineering to Engineering Coordinator and reassigned from Pay Grade 7 to Pay Grade 11
• Administrative Assistant - Community Affairs to Executive Assistant and reassigned from Pay Grade 7 to Pay Grade 10
• Director of Parks and Facilities Management - reassigned from Pay Grade 14 to Pay Grade 17
• Director of Transportation - reassigned from Pay Grade 14 to Pay Grade 17
• Part-Time Human Resources Clerk - reassigned from Pay Grade 5 to Pay Grade 7
• Seasonal Golf Maintenance Worker I - reclassified from Pay Grade 2 to Pay Grade 3
• Seasonal Golf Maintenance Worker II - reclassified from Pay Grade 3 to Pay Grade 4
Section 2: That the current Step 1 is eliminated, the wage scale shall be shifted forward, and a new final step is hereby added.
Section 3: That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto which are made a part hereof, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
