AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PAY GRADE FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR CLASSIFICATION IN THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE HUMAN RESOURCES CLERK CLASSIFICATION IN THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

Body

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the pay grade for the Economic Development Director classification in the Economic Development Department to assure that the compensation for said position is commensurate for the current duties of this classification.

 

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the pay grade for the Human Resource Clerk classification in the Human Resources Department to assure that the compensation for said position is commensurate for the current duties of this classification.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1:  That the pay grade for the Economic Development Director classification is hereby amended from grade 19 to grade 21, retroactive to 07-08-2021.

 

Section 2:  That the pay grade for the Human Resources Clerk classification is hereby amended from grade 5 to grade 7, retroactive to 07-08-2021.

 

Section 3:   That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
