Title

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2019-002 (ADOPTED 2/11/19) AND ORDINANCE NO. 2013-009 (ADOPTED 3/25/13, WHICH AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 2005-020 ADOPTED 2/28/05) ESTABLISHING MEMBERSHIP FEES FOR THE OUTDOOR AQUATIC CENTER, AND RELATED PROVISIONS AND THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS,  it is necessary that the City revise the Outdoor Aquatic Center rates as the current rates have been in place since 2019.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF MEMBERS CONCURRING:

 

Section 1: That Ordinance No. 2019-002 (adopted 2/11/19) the Ordinance establishing membership fees for the Outdoor Aquatic Center, and related provisions, and Ordinance No. 2013-009 (adopted 3/25/13, which amended Ordinance No. 2005-020 adopted 2-28-05), be amended in accordance with Exhibit “A”, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby deemed an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and general welfare of the community to the extent that this legislation must be enacted in a timely fashion so that the City can immediately implement its current admission policy as to the Outdoor Aquatic Center; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and signature of the Mayor.
