AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH CULTIVATE FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPLEMENTING AN ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUPPORT PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF GROVEPORT

WHEREAS, the City of Groveport desires to contract with an outside agency to implement and administer an entrepreneurship support program in the City of Groveport; and,
WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a proposal from Cultivate for the administration of these services; and,
WHEREAS, Council desires to authorize the Administrator to enter into an agreement with Cultivate; and,
WHEREAS, said contract does not require competitive bidding as it involves a personal service contract pursuant to § 7.03 of the Groveport Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROVEPORT, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, A MAJORITY OF ITS MEMBERS CONCURRING:
Section 1: That the Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Groveport, an agreement with Cultivate for the implementation and administration of an entrepreneurship support program in the City of Groveport pursuant to Groveport Charter § 7.03.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
